Lerne Gotzon Mantuliz alias @gotzonmantuliz kennen

(@gotzonmantuliz)

Gotzon Mantuliz, originally from the Basque Country in northern Spain, is a true jack-of-all-trades. After winning the fifth season of the Spanish reality TV show El Conquistador del Fin del Mundo back in 2009, he is best known today for his stunning nature photography and travel adventures alongside his four-legged best friend, Noa. In addition to creating content and taking us around the world through his lens, he is also dedicated to giving back to society.

That's why, when it came time for our collaboration with the Wild at Heart Foundation and our Dog Days Collection, Gotzon instantly came to mind. So here are a few questions to get to know this multi-talented creator and dog dad a little better.

How long has Noa been part of your life, and what has she meant to you, from that first moment until today?

Noa came into my life over eight years ago, at a time when I wasn't sure what my future would hold. Noa came into my life as I was finding my way, and now I feel incredibly fortunate to share so many things with her: time, work, travel, and projects.

Anyone who follows you on social media can see that Noa is an essential part of your life. How does she fit into your daily routine? What activities does she join?

I'd say virtually all of them! Haha. When I work out, when I work from home, when we create content, when we travel together in the camper van... The only time we're apart is when I have to fly somewhere and she can't come along.

Part of what we love most about this collection is the opportunity to give back. We are honored to partner with Wild at Heart, an organization that rescues and cares for stray dogs worldwide. As a dog dad, that's probably a cause close to your heart...

I love the initiative; I travel constantly and everywhere I go I encounter stray dogs approaching for a bit of affection. I think the work foundations like Wild at Heart do is not only admirable, but deeply necessary.

We asked you to pick your favorites. Which Dog Days socks did you choose?

As soon as I saw the collection, two designs caught my eye: The Fighter and The Photographer. I think I went for The Fighter right away because I've wanted to visit Japan for a long time. And I chose The Photographer because I feel it reflects my everyday life sharing photos with Noa.

And there you have it!
